[vsnet-outburst 6875] HS 2214+2845 in outburst

Four previous outbursts were visually observed by me as follows:
2004 Dec.   9.779 UT, mv= 12.3
2005 May    2.108 UT, mv= 12.5 *
2005 July  13.997 UT, mv= 13.2
2005 Sept. 21.823 UT, mv= 12.7
* already in outburst on Apr. 30.409 UT (unfiltered CCD image)

HS 2214+2845 (= 1RXS J221631.2+290025) is an SS Cyg-type dwarf nova
with an orbital period of 258.02+/-0.56 min.
Precise coordinates: R.A. 22h16m31.2s  Decl. +29o00'20.6"  (J2000.0)

Outbursts of HS 2214+2845 seem to occur very regularly at intervals
of 71 days. The next outburst is expected for 2006 July 2.
