[vsnet-outburst 7219] Re: EG Aqr outburst!!

Unfiltered CCD observations by P. Schmeer, Bischmisheim, Germany:
AQREG 20061031.174 <165CR Scp
AQREG 20061108.326  127CR Scp
Instrument: University of Iowa, Rigel Telescope (0.37-m Cassegrain)
Sequence: Henden and Sumner (R magnitudes derived from V and B-V)

No known minor planets brighter than mag 16 near the position of
EG Aqr at the time of the outburst observation.

On the outburst image I measured the following position:
R.A. 23h25m19.20s  Decl. -08o18'18.9"  (J2000.0)

Data for EG Aqr from the Henden/Sumner sequence:
R.A. 23h25m19.21s  Decl. -08o18'19.6"  (J2000.0) V=18.65, B-V=-0.06
 
Coordinates (J2000.0) of USNO-B1.0 0816-0716959:
R.A. 23h25m19.17s  Decl. -08o18'18.9"  (mag 18)

EG Aqr is also included in the Lick Northern Proper Motion Program
Catalog as NPM1 -08.2198 (B=16.78, B-V=0.77, pmRA=0.0439"/yr,
pmDE=-0.0271"/yr)

The following two outbursts were observed prior to the current one:
1958 October 15, 14.8pg
1959 early August, 14.0 mag
