GK Per: Rapid fading from the third maximum

    We have found that GK Per is now rapidly fading from the third 
maximum of the current outburst.

Our simultaneous optical and infrared observations show that 
the onset of the fading in the infrared bands looks earlier than 
that in the V-band;

    The object may finally return to its quiescence after the long, 
peciliar outburst.
