NSV 1485 - analysis of 3 nights of observations (Sep 11-12-13, 2007) at CBA Belgium Observatory
Dear colleagues,
I just concluded an analysis of 367 unfiltered CCD observations of NSV 1485,
a cataclysmic variable of unknown type, obtained at CBA Belgium Observatory
on Sep 11, 12 and 13, 2007, using a 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and ST-7XME CCD.
The resulting light curve shows a decline by 0.8 mag/day, but no apparent
modulations in any of the datasets. An extensive analysis using various
period analysis methods in Peranso did not reveal any strong signal. We
therefore conclude that this was a 'normal' outburst of this cataclysmic
variable.
It remains interesting for visual observers to include this object in their
target list, as a next outburst might very well be a superoutburst.
The combined light curve has been posted on my website www.cbabelgium.com
Kind regards,
Tonny

The above result is consistent with the apparent lack of superhump
in observations by Ka-Dar observatory, see:
