DO Dra: outburst, and now fading

We observed DO Dra whose rare outburst was reported in
"baavss-alert" on 10 Jan.

We performed ~5 hours time-series photometry with
a 25-cm telescope and a CCD camera (Rc filter).
The resultant light curve can be seen at:

http://kanatatmp.blogspot.com/2008/01/do-dra-outburst.html

We can see fluctuations with a time-scale of a few tens
of minutes and amplitudes of 0.1-0.2 mag,
superimposed on a fading trend of 1.1 mag/day.

The object has already started fading.
It is noteworthy that our preliminary analysis of
multi-color data obtained with TRISPEC/KANATA shows
a quite red color (V-J~0.9) while it is still 3-4 mag
brighter than its quiescence.
