The star is ASAS 041109-5911.3 and has 10 outbursts recorded in ASAS data:
http://www.astrouw.edu.pl/cgi-gp/asas_variable/041109-5911.3,asas3,0,0,600,300,0
HJD-2450000 V

3023.54460 13.404
3023.58580 13.350
3811.55440 14.374
A typical maximum magnitude seems to be V= 13.4 although the ASAS observing
regime doesn't help. Outbursts are frequent, with a possible cycle arpund
40-65 days.
The star can be identified as
UCAC2 05741046 = 2MASS J04110925-5911162 = USNO-B1.0 0308-0027257
UCAC2 position is 04 11 09.242 -59 11 16.22 (J2000.0)
The astrometric catalogues give approximated magnitudes ranging from 15 to
17th mag. NOMAD gives a B-V of -0.1 from the YB6 (B= 17.0; V= 17.1)
catalogue but 2MASS colors are somewhat red (J-K 1.0; J= 15.9; K= 14.9)
though they could be wrong due to the star being variable. Actually the
UCAC2 entry, which should be only some tens of a magnitude off (brigther)
from V is 12.79 (!!) implying that it was observed in outburst.
The ASAS lightcurve excludes a red variable for this case.
Best wishes,
Sebastian.
