V1040 Cen is struggling to find its steady superoutburst regime. 

Full night observations at CBA Pretoria on 21 and 24 March show a lightcurve with non periodic variations up to 1 magnitude over several hours (24 March). The mean brightness is around magnitude 13.5 and strong flickering is obvious.

Interesting transitional behaviour of a not too well studied ugsu star which was initially known as RXS J1155.4-5641. Will it lead to a superoutburst? 

Perhaps other southern observers might want to join in..
