Nakajima-san reported that QW Ser had faded to mag 15.4 on May 5
and the object was still fading. This outburst, despite its brightness,
may be a normal outburst (as in 2006 May) or may be a precursor to
a genuine superoutburst. Since the mean supercycle suggests that the
next superoutburst is already due, continue observing to see if
the present outburst triggers a superoutburst. Time-resolved photometry
at such a stage will be very important to understand the mechanism.
