According to ASAS-3 data, V601 Sco (UG:) relatively regularly
brightens to V ~13.3 (period about 40 d). Is this true V601 Sco
or contamination of a nearby star?

It is reported bright now. Confirmation of the brightened object
might be helpful in resolving the identity.
