[vsnet-rcb 842] RCB Star V854 Cen Fading

Hello,

 

After a three week break due to holiday and poor weather a single visual
observation tonight shows the RCB star V854 some 2 magnitudes below normal
maximum brightness and therefore recently commenced to fade:

 

CENV854              20180822.390     7.3          WPX

CENV854              20180914.396     9.9          WPX

 

This decline is already evident in the AAVSO light curve data.
