ASASSN-22ae was reported as an object with an outburst amplitude of 3.2 mag on Jan 15. Observations over 4 nights in the period Jan 7 to Jan 13 at CBA KKO, confirm ASASSN-22ae as a ugsu type dwarf nova, showing superhumps of amplitude 0.2CR with a period of 0.06883d +/- 0.00004d.
