[vsnet-alert 28155] NSV 1440 outburst
The AM CVn-type object NSV 1440 is in a bright outburst. The last bright outburst was in 2021. NSV 1440 260404.433 132 Regards, Rod. -- Rod Stubbings Tetoora Road Observatory Victoria, Australia Honorary Associate member Astronomical Society of Australia Telescope: "Infinity" 22" f/3.8 stubbo@dcsi.net.au http://rodstubbingsobservatory.wordpress.com/
The peak magnitude of 13.2 suggests this is a superoutburst. Because the outburst profile of NSV 1440 shows large diversity, continuous time-resolved observations are encouraged. On 2026/04/05 8:06, Rod Stubbings via vsnet-alert wrote:

I will add this target from tonight onwards to my observing program.
