TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36595 SUBJECT: GRB 240602A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/06/02 10:13:46 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM <do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov> The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 10:03:07 UT on 2 Jun 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240602A (trigger 739015392.154066 / 240602419). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 198.6, Dec = -27.1 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 13h 14m, -27d 06'), with a statistical uncertainty of 4.8 degrees.
