TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 45258 SUBJECT: GRB260730A: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 26/07/30 13:35:14 GMT FROM: oliver.roberts@universityofgalway.ie The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB "At 04:28:34.96 UT on 30 July 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB260730A (trigger 807078519/260730187). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 290.97, Dec = +33.39 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to 19h 24', +33d 23'), with a statistical uncertainty of 11.61 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 30 degrees. The skymap can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2026/bn260730187/q... The HEALPix FITS file, including the estimated localization systematic, can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2026/bn260730187/q...
