TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36039 SUBJECT: GRB 240405B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/04/05 22:32:47 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM <do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov> The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 22:22:27 UT on 5 Apr 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240405B (trigger 734048552.443682 / 240405932). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 262.8, Dec = 44.8 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 17h 31m, 44d 47'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.7 degrees.
