TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 34862 SUBJECT: GRB 231020B: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 23/10/20 21:46:18 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM <do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov> The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB At 21:35:52 UT on 20 Oct 2023, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 231020B (trigger 719530557.906538 / 231020900). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 221.4, Dec = 15.6 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 14h 45m, 15d 35'), with a statistical uncertainty of 1.0 degrees.
