TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 36345 SUBJECT: GRB 240429A: Fermi GBM Final Real-time Localization DATE: 24/04/29 15:15:08 GMT FROM: Fermi GBM Team at MSFC/Fermi-GBM <do_not_reply@GIOC.nsstc.nasa.gov> The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB At 15:04:28 UT on 29 Apr 2024, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 240429A (trigger 736095873.926064 / 240429628). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 13.7, Dec = 18.5 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 00h 54m, 18d 30'), with a statistical uncertainty of 8.9 degrees.
