TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 45273 SUBJECT: GRB 260802B: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 26/08/02 11:25:15 GMT FROM: Marianna Dafčíková at Masaryk University <500025@mail.muni.cz> The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely SHORT GRB "At 08:59:48.38 UT on 02 August 2026, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 260802B (trigger 807353993/260802375). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 313.40, Dec = -18.52 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 20h 53m, -18d 31'), with a statistical uncertainty of 29.68 degrees.
