TITLE: GCN CIRCULAR NUMBER: 41724 SUBJECT: GRB 250905B: Fermi GBM Final Localization DATE: 25/09/05 11:17:13 GMT FROM: A. Holzmann Airasca at University of Trento and INFN Bari <a.holzmannairasca@unitn.it> The Fermi GBM team reports the detection of a likely LONG GRB "At 08:14:40.87 UT on 05 September 2025, the Fermi Gamma-ray Burst Monitor (GBM) triggered and located GRB 250905B (trigger 778752885/250905344). The on-ground calculated location, using the Fermi GBM trigger data, is RA = 123.82, Dec = -19.65 (J2000 degrees, equivalent to J2000 8h 15m, -19d 38'), with a statistical uncertainty of 11.91 degrees. The angle from the Fermi LAT boresight is 90 degrees. The skymap can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2025/bn250905344/q... The HEALPix FITS file, including the estimated localization systematic, can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2025/bn250905344/q... The GBM light curve can be found here: https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/FTP/fermi/data/gbm/triggers/2025/bn250905344/q..."
