ASASSN-17eg: refined period and about type Using the ZTF data, I obtained a refined orbital period of 0.07859690(5) d. The mean light curve is unlike that of an short-period dwarf nova or novalike, but is a smooth sinusoidal one with a full amplitude of 0.26 mag. The object looks like to me basically a reflection variable. The 2019 outburst likely came from an accretion disk formed by a small amount of mass-transfer. The transverse velocity is twice larger than that of OV Boo and ASASSN-17eg is probably a population II binary.

WFI J161953.3+031909: genuine eclipsing Z Cam (+SU UMa?) star in the period gap ZTF data indicate that this object is a genuine Z Cam star. Long standstill in 2021 Feb.-Sep. There has been no indication of the IW And-type phenomenon. Long outbursts in 2019 may have been superoutbursts. The supercycle(?) was 70-90 d with a long duty cycle. This would be classified as UGZ+UGSU(ER):+E.
