ASASSN-23bl: new SU UMa-type dwarf nova (now faded)
Josch Hambsch has reported observations (and some from
Itoh-san). The object faded to 19.5 on Mar. 18.
The light curve suggests that the superoutburst plateau
stage B-C was likely observed (when superhump amplitude
becomes small). A PDM analysis of the superoutburst
plateau yielded the most likely period of 0.06348(5) d
and an amplitude of 0.07 mag (Due to the low sampling rate,
the waveform became apparent only after the period analysis).
The object is likely a WZ Sge star based on the amplitude.
The period may suggest multiple rebrightenings if it is
the case.
