ZTF18abtbrfb: ordinary polar Re: [vsnet-chat 9257] ZTF18abtbrfb: polar below the period minimum? Using the extended ZTF data set, I have confirmed that the double period is the correct one. P=0.0719429(1) d and two strong peaks (1.3 mag and 1.1 mag) per period. Flat part between the peaks. ATLAS data yielded the same period, though faint phases were below the detection limit of ATLAS. All indicate that this object is a polar.

The profile resembles that of evolving ordinary superhumps, but the variations may be early superhumps. Further observations are needed to clarify the nature.
