Dear colleagues,

J. Shears caught an outburst of CP Dra as below. This
star was confirmed to be an SU UMa-type dwarf nova with
a relatively long superhump period of 0.084 d during
the 2001 Feb/Mar superoutburst. Since this superoutburst,
three outbursts have been reported in 2002 March, 2003
January, and 2003 November, and all these were proved
to be superoutbursts.

Is CP Dra a system which shows only superoutbursts, like
V844 Her? Although this star does not seem to be so
bright now and the position is currently bad for
observations (10h15m40s, +73o26'05"), confirmations
of this outburst and monitor observations are highly
encouraged!

Best regards,
Daisaku Nogami
