[Vsnet-alert 8447] Nova Aql 2005 = ASAS 190512+0514.2

Nova Aql 2005 = ASAS 190512+0514.2

   M. Fujii (Fujii Bisei Observatory) has confirmed that ASAS 190512+0514.2
is an FeII-class classical nova.  The spectrum shows strong Balmer emission
lines (FWHM of Halpha being 1200km/s).  The nova seems to be reddended with
an rapidly increasing continuum strength toward the red spectrum.  The NaD
interstellar line is also detected as an absorption.  The spectroscopic
finding is consistent with multicolor photometry by K. Nakajima.
