Hola VSNET administrators -

I am absolutely delighted that vsnet has returned! It has been sorely
missed. Welcome back !

The following is something like an alert: I very, very highly recommend
that you check out

        http://rshida.astrodatabase.net/astronomy/magellanicnovae.html

Here you will find a super-convenient tabulation of all novae known to have
occurred in the MagClds with all sorts of basic data like positions, peak
mags, rate of fadings, references, and links to deep photos of the region.
It was compiled by my Brazilian colleague Raquel Shida out of the love of
her heart -- i.e. in her spare time.

You will be, I assure you, immensely impressed.

She notes that it is work in progress, and I'm sure she would appreciate
any suggestions, comments, additions, corrections, etc. She provides an
easy link for such remarks.

And please note that I continue to try to add new MagCld novae to the
list...

All the best to all, William/Bill Liller
