Last night's observations of CTCV J0549-4921 were done under good skies at CBA Pretoria.

Timeseries photometry over more than three hours show fully grown superhumps and indicate a reasonably accurate s/hump period:

mean magnitude:12.95CR
hump amplitude: 0.4CR
s/hump cycle: 0.0827d +/- 0.001d which is in agreement with the published orbital period of 0.08022, showing a difference of 3% between orbital and s/hump period during the initial stage of the outburst.

Further observations are planned at CBA Pretoria, hopefully at other sites too. This is an early night southern target.

A chart of this new ugsu (with indicated R sequence) is made available on request (with pleasure).
