Dear colleagues,

M. Fujii (Okayama, Japan) obtained a low-resolution spectrum
of the possible nova in Oph on Apr. 7.
The spectrum can be seen at
http://www1.harenet.ne.jp/~aikow/etc/p_n_o_oph_20060407.gif

A clear P Cyg profile was seen in the Halpha region.
The FWHM of the emission component was 600km/sec.
The bottom of the absorption component was 36A bluer than
the emission peak. S/N was not good, but P Cyg profile was
also seen in the Hbeta region. He commented that this
object seem to be a nova at maximum.

K.Nakajima (Mie, Japan) performed multicolor photometry of
this nova on Apr. 7.
