Daer Colleagues,

According to Rod Stubbings, a candidate for dwarf novae EG Aqr is
in outburst.

>AQREG          061108.448   124

To our knowledge, the variable did not show an outburst over the
past 20 years. High speed photometry is encouraged.

(note)
* identical with USNO B1.0 0816-0716959 (B1=18.760, R1=18.260)

* possible 2MASS source J=17.432, H=16.309, K=15.681

* no X-ray counterpart

* RA 23:25:19.20 DEC -08:18:19.2

* Optical spectrum is seen in Szkody & Howell (1992), however, the spectrum
shows no emission lines in Balmer series. In addition, the SED is like a K-type
star. We need to check whether the star is misidentified.

Regards,
Akira Imada
