[OT tends to mean "Off Topic" when at the front of emails in Yankglish mailing lists]

Kato Taichi advised :-

"OT_J011543.2+333724 = Catalina transient

According to Catalina CV page, this object had been caught in outburst in DSS."

Quiescence mags for this object from SDSS :-

<http://cas.sdss.org/astrodr7/en/tools/explore/obj.asp?id=758877156285678192>

GALEX NUV mag is 22.27 +/- 0.50 so with SDSS g' = r' = 21.25 and i' = 20.89, fairly blue.

The SEGUE fields, especially SEGUE II, tend to fill in quite a fair bit of the gaps left from the SDSS footprint in the "Northern" high South Galactic Latitude zones, and others. Either the above dr7 direct url or the dedicated segue url (below) for root.

<http://cas.sdss.org/seguetarg/en/tools/explore/obj.asp?ra=18.93014212&dec=+33.62305056>

Only one observation, filter exposures around Aug 26th 2004 UT for SDSS.

Cheers

John
