Standstills of this star usually end in form of declines.
However, most of this do not continue so long - within a week.
This decline continues about two week and seems to be long.
This star recently showed such states in 1996 and 2000.
In 1996, this star kept a faint state for 5 months. At this
time, this star was mainly at around 15th mag. This is fainter
than the usual minimum.
Kato et al. (PASJ, 54, 575 (2002)) suggested this variations
be similar to fadings of VY Scl type stars. However, they detected
short term variations in this fading and said that there is a
substantial amount of mass-transfer remaining therefore.
