[vsnet-alert 9845] OT_J074727.6+065050 (new CV in CMi) superhumps

   According to aavso-photometry, Dave Lane reported the detection
of "superhumps" with an amplitude of 0.13 mag.

   The light curve

   indicates that the humps are ordinary superhumps rather than
WZ Sge-type early superhumps.
This is surprising if the object was discovered at the early
stage of its outburst (or the true maximum may have been missed?).
The period looks longer than that expected for a WZ Sge-type
dwarf nova.
