Greg Bolt has reported time-series observations of DV Sco on
June 3. The object was rapidly fading at a mean rate of 1.4 mag/d.
Superimposed on this fading trend, hump-like signals were present.
An analysis of the data has yielded a period of 0.1127(8) d with
amplitudes up to 0.2 mag. There was a hint of double-wave modulations.

In [vsnet-alert 8325], Nogami-san reported an analysis of the
2004 supertoutburst, giving a provisional superhump period of 0.0997(1) d.
The current period is somewhat different from this period.
Given the uncertainties of period determination in both observations,
the current periodicity may reflect some sort of superhumps.

The present phenomenon in DV Sco may be similar to that observed
in AQ Eri during its outburst in 1998 (see IBVS 4767).
