Subject: [cvnet-outburst] SDSS 162718+120435 in outburst

I detected SDSS 162718+120435 in outburst last night which is currently
classified as a CV of unknown type making it a high priority target. I
first detected this star on 2008/05/01 at 18.43 (C filter) and last
night at 15. I would be interested to know if anyone has observations
of this CV.
Unfortunately it will be cloudy and rainy here for the next few nights
and I will not be able to follow-up. If anyone is interested in
obseving this star, I would be happy to collect any observations and
forward them to Boris Gaensicke for analysis.

Clear skies to all,

Steve Brady
