UW Tri: superhumps?

We have received further data from Itoh-san, Nakajima-san and
Kyoto team (observer: Ohshima-san). Ordinary superhumps appeared
to have developed on Nov. 5, with an amplitude of ~0.15 mag.
Due to the faintness of the object and short runs, it is still
difficult to determine the period uniquely, but a period of
0.05490(1) d seems to best express the light curve on Nov. 4 and 5
(the superhumps seem to have started developing on Nov. 4).
The best corresponding period of early superhumps, determined from
observations before Nov. 4, is 0.05333(3) d, though the previously
reported longer period (around 0.0565 d) still remains viable.
If the presently reported shorter period is indeed the orbital/superhump
period, UW Tri has a period close to GW Lib, the WZ Sge-type dwarf nova
with the shortest period. Further observations are eagerly wanted!
