UW Tri early superhumps

We have received further data from Nakajima-san and Kyoto team
(observer: Ohshima-san). Observations on three consecutive nights
now support the presence of coherent variations. The best period
(although other periods are still possible) is 0.05644(3) d.
The full amplitudes were slightly less than 0.1 mag and decreasing.
The profile consists of a narrower minimum and a broader maximum,
the latter apparently having two components with unequal amplitudes.
The overall profile resembles that of early superhump in WZ Sge-type
dwarf novae (cf. http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2002PASJ...54L..11K ).
The current period is ~0.8% shorter than the superhump period detected
during the 1995 superoutburst. This fractional difference also supports
the identification of waves as early superhumps.
Since the S/N of the observations of 1995 and current (up to now) outburst
was not sufficiently high, the present identification need to be verified
by further data and new determination of the period of ordinary superhumps,
which are expected to appear later.

Further intensive observations are strongly encouraged!
