According to CBAT Unconfirmed Observations Page, a possible nova in Aql was discovered. The PN is likely an outburst of V500 Aql (Nova Aql 1943). Haefner (1999) reported that the object is an eclipsing nova with a period of 3.5h. Follow-up observations are urgently required.
