According to Catalina, the old nova X Ser is experiencing an outburst. (CSS090816:161918-022929). The object was reported to be at mag 14.3 on Aug. 16. Having an orbital period of 1.478 d, the current outburst of X Ser may resemble dwarf nova-like outbursts of GK Per (or V630 Cas etc.). Follow-up observations are encouraged.
