[vsnet-alert 10949] OT_J071126.0+440405: NEAT data and the finest period

J0711+4404 was observed by Palomar/NEAT on 8 nights with 22 images 
available at SkyMorph site.  The object was in a high state (~15m out of 
eclipse) on 1997 Oct. 30 and 1998 Mar. 29; then in a low state (~17.5) 
on 2002 Feb. 02 and 12; then again at its highest (~14.7) on 2002 Nov. 
15, Dec. 12 and 2003 Jan. 22; and finally in an intermediate state 
(~16m) on 2003 Feb. 18.

There is a perfect 3.5 mag deep eclipse on 2002-12-12T11:22:57 compared 
to the image taken 45 minutes before (2002-12-12T10:36:19):

2452620.974 18.3

(magnitudes measured versus USNO-A2.0 1275-06798796 at 07 11 28.67 +44 
05 59.8 which is 2' North of the variable, or more exactly in PA=14, 
with R=14.3 and B=14.6).

Another eclipse more than 2mag deep is obvious on 2003-02-18T06:15:28 
image.  Using these data in combination with our observations at 80-mm 
refractor from Dec. 31 - Jan. 1/2, I obtained the best value of period 
equal to 0.0813768(1)d.  The nearby alias 0.0813737(1)d is also possible 
(27174 or 27175 revolutions between eclipses on 2454832.30 and 
2452620.97), but the folded light curve looks a little worse in the 
latter case.  0.0813798(1) is yet less satisfactory.

Note that I didn't use the later data by Arto Oksanen et al.  Taking 
them into account may unambiguously decide in favor of one period or 
another.  I would bet on 0.0813768d.
