V893 Sco: possible superhump period

Josch Hambsch has reported time-series observations of V893 Sco on
March 1. The object showed large-amplitude (0.4 mag) variations.
Since the object has faded from an outburst plateau, these modulations
may not be true superhumps. We can get, however, a period of 0.07851(1) d
by linking with earlier observations. This period corresponds to
a fractional superhump excess of 3.4 %. The existence of superhumps
and period should be confirmed by future observations.
