VX For: rebrightening and enduring superhumps

We have received further data from Berto Monard, the Hermitage
Observatory team (Arto Oksanen and Eric Southgate) and Chris Stockdale.
After reaching the rebrightening peak on Oct 6.0, the object started
fading again. During the rebrightening and subsequent fading, enduring
superhumps with a mean period of 0.06168(9) d have been detected.
This phenomenon probably corresponds to "late-stage superhumps" in
WZ Sge-type dwarf novae (cf. vsnet-alert 11513). The new period
is 0.6% longer than the mean superhump period.
Further observations are requested in anticipation of repeated
rebrightenings!
