HT Cas: stage B-C transition!

We have received new observations from Akazawa-san, Okayama U. of Sci.
team, Kyoto team, Arto Oksanen, Josch Hambsch (Tzec Maun Foundation telescope)
and Ian Miller. More data (being analyzed) are expected to come from
Maehara-san.

The object has shown a clear stage B-C transition (stage C starting
on Nov. 7). The Pdot for stage B was virtually zero. The mean period
for stage C superhumps has been 0.07593(3) d (3.1% longer than Porb).
Although the reality of the phenomenon needs to be confirmed by further
observations, the profiles of stage C superhumps appear to be less affected
by eclipses than those of stage B superhumps.
Continued intensive observations are strongly encouraged!
