SDSS J080434.20+510349.2: transition from early superhumps to ordinary superhumps

Josch Hambsch has reported further observations. On Sep. 22-23,
the profiles of the hump feature has changed from double-humped to
single-humped (amplitude now close to 0.2 mag), suggesting that the object
is now developing ordinary superhumps.

The mean period of early superhumps determined from observations up to
Sep. 22 was 0.058972(7) d, which is by 0.06 % shorter than the orbital
period. This tendency is the same as was observed in WZ Sge
(cf. Ishioka et al. http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2002A%26A...381L..41I ).
Although the period of the ordinary superhumps is still difficult to
determine, it is not incompatible with 0.0595 d recorded during the 2006
superoutburst.

This relatively early (for a WZ Sge-type dwarf nova) appearance of
ordinary superhumps. This finding seems to support the general trend
that WZ Sge-type dwarf novae with multiple rebrightenings tend to have
shorter delay times in appearance of ordinary superhumps; cf. discussion
in http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2009PASJ...61S.395K ).

   Further observations are strongly encouraged!
