Sorry, I have incorrectly reported the constellation of the new MASTER
OT in my previous E-mail! It is not in Cepheus, but in Camelopardalis
(Cam), a couple degrees from NN Cam = NSV 1485. My apologies for the
confusion!

The corrected report follows:

MASTER-Tunka has detected a 16-mag optical transient MASTER OT
J034850.9+714202 in Camelopardalis (ATel #3794, Balanutsa et al.) which
is a possible dwarf nova in outburst. The visual inspection of
available Palomar plates shows a presence of a very faint object
(B~21.5-22) marginally visible on two POSS-II blue plates only (1993
Sep. 25 and 1994 Jan. 09). There is nothing at this position in GSC
2.3.2, USNO-B1.0, 2MASS and GALEX catalogues.

Position of the object (J2000.0) from the discovery ATel:

03 48 50.94 +71 42 02.0

The magnitude of the optical transient (unfiltered) was 16.0 on 2011
Dec. 01.63 UT.

Photometric time series are encouraged.

Best regards,

Denis
