The star on CSS images is actually a blend of two faint stars 2.6"
apart resolved by Sloan Survey with its 0.4" pixel. Their coordinates
and SDSS ugriz magnitudes are:

SDSS J112509.67+231036.0 20.59 20.99 21.03 21.18 20.37
SDSS J112509.86+231036.4 21.89 20.13 19.48 19.31 19.26

See http://cas.sdss.org/astrodr7/en/tools/explore/obj.asp?id=587742188825935979

The 1st (blue) star is variable, and the outburst amplitude 4.4m
(21.03-16.65) is definitely OK for a CV.
