This object is identical to the star SDSS J081443.89+125500.0 with
quite blue colors:

u=22.03+/-0.25, g=21.86+/-0.06, r=21.67+/-0.08, i=21.96+/-0.15, z=21.20+/-0.31

There is also a faint (B=21-21.5) star on three POSS-II Blue plates at
the position of the OT, but nothing on 12 remaining DSS plates. The
star is present in GSC 2.3.2 with the following coordinates and blue
magnitude:

08 14 43.926 +12 54 59.87 J=21.29

NEAT database at SkyMorph has 108 images of the field from 39
different nights in 1997-2006 - there are no outbursts detected there.

The object is also present in GALEX catalog as GALEX J081443.8+125459
with near UV magnitude NUV=21.88+/-0.14.

Taking all this into account (blue color at quiescence, 7-mag
amplitude and no detection of previous outbursts), the star is most
likely a new variable of UGWZ type.

Best regards,

Denis Denisenko
