[vsnet-alert 14690] OT J172951.6+220808 : likely superhump variations

Dear Colleagues,

we did more than 6 hours of time-resolved photometry on this OT, remotely using 
the 14" unit part of the Virtual Telescope robotic system, Italy. The star is about

Tonight, a superhump-like modulation is visible, with an amplitude of about 0.1 
mag and a period of about 2.6 hours. This seems to suggest that this OT maybe a 
new SU UMa CV sitting in the period gap. This modulation has not a simple 
profile, so further observations would be useful.

Data were sent to Kyoto for analysis.
