Dear colleagues,

This evening (2015, Feb 27/28), I obtained unfiltered CCD photometry
observations of the newly discovered object ASASSN-15dp at CBA Belgium
Observatory, using a 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera. The
sky was very clear, resulting in a light curve with a time span of 4.6
hours. It clearly shows the presence of superhumps, hence establishing this
target as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The sumperhump amplitude is small at
approx 0.05 mag. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM
methods (Peranso), yields a period of 0.064 +/- 0.001 d.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis. It is
evident that additional observations are needed to more accurately
establish the superhump period.

Best regards
Tonny
