Dear colleagues,

Last 2 nights (2015, Jun 29/30 and Jun 30/Jul 01), I have been doing unfiltered CCD photometry of ASASSN-15lz. Observations were made at CBA Belgium Observatory, using a 0.35-m f/6.3 telescope and STT-3200ME CCD camera, under (mostly) clear skies but with strong moonlight. The resulting combined light curve shows the presence of low-amplitude (super?)humps, most likely establishing this target as a new SU UMa-type dwarf nova. The amplitude is approx 0.045 mag. A period analysis using the ANOVA, Lomb-Scargle and PDM methods (Peranso), yields a combined period of 0.052 +/- 0.001d. ASASSN-15lz was at unfiltered mag 15.8 on Jul 01st.

Further observations are evidently encouraged.

Observations will be sent to CBA and VSNET for further analysis.

Best regards
Tonny
