ASASSN-15na: likely AM CVn-type superoutburst

Berto Monard has reported observations on July 27
(before the dip). This observation has made it
clearer that the basic period is the shorter one.
The superhump period has been determined to be
0.03149(6) d. This period is slightly shorter than
0.03409 d (stage A) for the AM CVn-type
SDSS J090221.35+381941.9. Based on this period and
the presence of a dip in the outburst, ASASSN-15na
is likely a long-period AM CVn-type object
undergoing an outburst.
One outburst in CRTS-SSS (SSS J191908.7-494542)
suggests that outbursts are not as infrequent as
in WZ Sge-type objects.
