[vsnet-alert 18703] SDSS J150441.76+084752.6 (= 1502+09) extremely rare outburst

SDSS J150441.76+084752.6 (= 1502+09, in Bootes)

is undergoing an extremely rare outburst according to
two baavss-alert messages from Gary Poyner and
Victor Hull.

Visual magnitude estimates:
2015 Jun 06 23:47 UT, [14.2 (Hull)
2015 Jun 07 23:22 UT,  13.7 (Hull)

Apparently no previous outbursts have been recorded of
this object, which was discovered in 1984 as "a faint
emission-line star, 1502+09".

Confirmation, spectroscopy, and time-resolved photometry
are urgently required.
